Chilean patriotism

We had another Peña folclórica this week! We dressed up Chilote again, beanie, socks and all. The Barría family came and brought Sopapillas for our ward, they're super loving and are basically a part of the ward now. We did a different chilote dance, this one was a lot better haha. There were lots of Empanadas, Chilean Alfajores and the sopapillas.

Other than that, it was a pretty classic week. With everyone celebrating more and more as we get closer and closer to the 18th, (seriously it's not like our independence day- it's like an independence month haha,) it's getting harder and harder to share the Gospel. That being said, I've loved seeing everyone so patriotic! They are celebrating the right to defend themselves, their agency and ability to act for themselves, which is such a beautiful gift that God gives us.

Anyways, love you all! Alma 31:38= recipe for joy(:
