Howdy y'all! This week was absolutely wild with the 18th, I'll just jump into it
Sunday this last week was Chilean independence day, so the entire week has included lots and lots of Alfajores, fried Empanadas, Sopapillas, Mote con guasillo (I have no clue how to spell that last one,) and Chilean dances. It's been a good time!
It was also Elder Call's last week in the mission, and so we had lots of meetings with members and friends to say farewell. That brings me to the next bit of info, transfers!
I'm staying In Ovejeria with an Elder Sanchez. I haven't met him, but I'm pumped to be with another Latino. I'm not sure if I already wrote about this, but this transfer the mission center, office, mission house and all, are moving to Puerto Montt! So now I am in the mission Chile, Puerto Montt. #ripOsorno
This last week the Sáez girls got baptized! It's been super cool watching them change as they have learned about the atonement. They are still very very shy, but they talk now! The Baptisms and Confirmations went very smoothly, for once there actually wasn't problems with the font or anything. These were the first baptisms where I have been with them from beginning to baptism, so they were very special.
Another cool miracle: about a year ago, when I was still serving in Nashville, I prayed to have the opportunity to teach someone in Spanish. As an answer to that prayer, through a series of promptings God led me and Elder Kreimeyer to Miguel and his fam. It's been a long road for them, but this last Saturday Miguel was baptized!! I was able to zoom in, it was a very special experience to say the least.
Cool study: Hebrews 12 up to like the 10th verse+ 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27
Thats my spiritual thought😊 go find it
