Week 16

What's up ya'll! lo siento for the missed email, not a ton happened out of the ordinary last week and p day got a tad crazy. This last week was insane though, we had 6 people come to church which was so cool, and then I went up to Hopkinsville on an exchange with elder Thomason. He lives in a quad, and it was low key the funnest night ever, shout out to elder Baumgart he's a literal wizard in the kitchen. It was fun to see how the area we were in was so different than Krikwood. Me and elder Kreimeyer basically only teach the restoration In our area, the whole time I've been here we've had literally no one progress beyond our first or second meeting until recently, so it was fun to teach other things like the word of wisdom. Elder Thomason is such a legend. We then had zone conference, hence the late p day. Zone conference was so good, always a fun time to go up and meet more missionaries. Spiritual thought: something I'm realizing more and more is about how the nature of Christ is so dang selfless. Literally everything he did was for us, and he even surrendered his will to the father. In the Book of Mormon, every prophet follows a pattern of learning about Christ, then selflessly having a desire to bring others to a knowledge and selflessly giving up their will. As they do this, miracles occur. This might be something that seems obvious to a lot of ya'll, but it's something that has reached a far deeper meaning with me lately. As we strive to come to a more intimate knowledge of Christ, we will adopt some of his character and want to bring others to a deeper knowledge. As our desires align with his, as we desire to understand him more, do his will, and bring others with us, we will be blessed.

love ya'll, reading emails throughout the week actually brings me so much joy!

Aaron(a recent converts husband) randomly showed up to church dressed like a revolutionary war soldier? We love him!

Camp trailer hibachi

 Howdy👋

This week was pretty good, we definitely have been carried by the lord to have found some progressing people!! Something we focused on this week was being more inspired in our tracting. We aren't allowed to knock doors, but we can knock a few around people we have meetings with and so we have to pick a few out of entire neighborhoods to contact. We have been able to fund success by praying to know which doors to knock and also praying for people to go outside so that we can talk to them. PRAYER WORKS!! I've gotten into the habit of praying every few hours at least and I can definitely tell a difference!

This last week we had a few different trunk or treats to go to with our ward, and let me tell ya'll, their chili competitions are no joke. each ward brought like 30-50 Chili pots😆 So that was fun. Me and my elder wore cowboy hats.

Something funny that happened was we went to visit someone in our sisters area because they live in a "evil spirit zone," which is their way of saying its sketchy, (you'd be surprised how often this happens,) and me and Elder K were overjoyed to work with the projects because our area in pretty wealthy. Anyway, we're walking through this neighborhood and there's this guy working on a camping trailer. We start talking to him and turns out he goes by De White, and he's turning his camping trailer into a Hibachi food truck😂 He's going to take it to downtown Nashville once he finishes putting the hard wood and carpet in his food truck. We were pretty sure he was slightly high, but he was happy to hear our message because "an angel in the form of a bug the size of a person" visited him a few nights ago so he's feeling extra spiritual. literal legend.

love ya'll!
