Hola amigos! lo siento, it took me 3 weeks to finally get an email out jajaja. These 3 weeks have been very crazy, but very spiritual and special for me. Let's see... ig I just start out at the beginning. The first week was absolutely wonderful but very overwhelming. We kinda just jumped into 90% Spanish and that percentage has really only gone up since. I feel like I've been able to hold on quite well, but ironically only because of high school spanish. Who'd've thought Mr Ted Taylor and Cooper's teaching would actually come in clutch someday?! I definitely already know so much more than those three years ever taught me, el don de lenguas taking the mvp award for that. Most of my district (10 elders, 2 hermanas,) lives in Utah, which has been nice for district meetups. My companion lives in Eagle, ID, (6 hours away:/ ) but I actually did get to meet him EARLIER TODAY! crazy how stuff works out. Basically I went up to McCall, ID for a family reunion this last week and was able to stop by his house on the way back. Perks of at home MTC jajaja. Seriously though, I've absolutely loved it. What a unique opportunity to learn to serve the lord while in my hometown, able to climb, play pickleball, and see my family and friends for just a tad longer. And surprisingly, I've been able to feel the spirit quite a bit despite barely understanding what's being taught.
